Application
Must be glued down over wood sub floors or concrete substrates. All materials must be installed over a substrates that is a level to a standard 3mm over 3mm tolerance. Planks should be started square with the room and parallel with its longest dimension by positioning with a chalk line. Make sure the starter rows are firmly in placed using wedges. For all types of installation, joints must be staggered 250 to 500mm.

Adhesion
Hangzhou Bamfox® Bamboo Products Co. LTD (Bamboo Solid T&G Flooring Products) must be installed with a poly-urethane based adhesive using WET-LAY method. Recommended adhesive for installation is Sika Direct Stick. Hangzhou Bamfox® Bamboo Products Co. LTD not warrants installation & the adhesive.All substrates must be free from contaminants prior to installation for good adhesion. Spread the adhesive using the adhesive manufacturers specified notch trowel. Any excess glue that may have been transferred to the top surface of the flooring board must be cleaned off immediately.

Moisture Barrier
We recommend that all installation must have a moisture barrier applied that is competitive with the adhesive to all substrates.

Expansion
For all larger area’s it is recommended that mid-expansion must be placed throughout the installation at intervals no greater than 6 meters. Perimeter expansions of a minimum 10mm must be left on all installation.

Moldings
Do not glue or nail moldings to your floor. Transition moldings are glued to the sub-floor and perimeter moldings are nailed to the wall. Remove excess underlayment before placement. Allow the glue to dry overnight (at least 12 hours) before heavy use of the floor.

Installers
Hangzhou Bamfox® Bamboo Products Co. LTD recommends that all our products must be installed by a certified Timber Flooring installer.
